Author Patrick J. Fischer's journey began in the computer industry in 1983 as a technician at a store selling Apple, IBM, Texas Instruments, and Compaq computers. After earning his degree from DeVry Institute of Technology in 1985, he shifted his focus in 1993 to working with individuals experiencing vision loss, developing personalized solutions to improve their quality of life.
